Kombucha is a fermented beverage, made out of a blend of green and black tea with sugar. The symbiotic culture of bacteria and yeast, mostly known as SCOBY, consumes most of the sugar and theine, transforming the sweet tea into a slightly carbonated elixir, full of organic acids and enzymes beneficial to the gut flora.

Yes! Kombucha is not a medicine but a great complement to a balanced and healthy diet. We recommend regular consumption rather than in quantity.

The consumption of kombucha is personal. The rule is to listen to your body and consume Aquela Kombucha in order to nourish and respect the organism.

It can be consumed first thing in the morning, between or during meals. It is a healthy substitute for soft or processed drinks. It can be added to smoothies, cocktails ... the possibilities are endless!

Aquela Kombucha is alive, contains bacteria and yeasts sensitive to room temperature, as it is not pasteurized. For this reason, it must be kept in the refrigerator - besides, it always tastes better fresh!

Sugar is the fuel for fermentation and is consumed almost entirely during the process, with a very low final concentration.

The theine in green and black tea is essential and feeds fermentation, as does sugar. The final concentration is insignificant and should not take away your sleep!

Due to the natural fermentation process, kombucha contains a negligible alcohol content and is considered a non-alcoholic beverage. However, its consumption is not recommended for children under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding mothers. In case of doubt or other non-discriminatory conditions, consult your doctor.

That Kombucha is full of good things and it's only natural to share it with our best friends. You can add 2 to 6 teaspoons* of Original Kombucha diluted in water or added to preparations, to help the digestion of the furry ones. *The amount will depend on the size of the animal.
